How long will my repair take - Fine Diamond Jeweler - Neenah, WI
J. Anthony: J. Anthony here at one of my favorite pubs in downtown Neenah, and here to answer a question often asked, "How long is it gonna take to repair my piece of jewelry?" A very dynamic question, it could be as quick as an hour or two. It could be ten minutes. It could be days or weeks. It just depends how complicated it is. The beauty of it is we have a complete lab and shop. Everything from basic soldering irons to torches to laser welders to hammers and drills and everything else that might be needed. And we have a complete inventory of parts, bits, pieces, and things, as I like to call them, to fix that piece of jewelry for you. Sometimes it can come in the morning and we can have it ready in the afternoon. It just needs to be requested. But honestly, most of the time give us a few days. We like to work it into our flow of the system at the store, and usually within a week. But the beauty also is that we do the work. You're most likely going to be talking to one of the two goldsmiths that actually do the work, or you're gonna see us right through the picture window in our shop. Asking questions, discussing what needs to be done with that piece of jewelry and then we tackle it. We take care of it right there. It's not being shipped off to New York City, or Minneapolis, or somewhere. Unless it's a really specialized project because we do have that. But we will disclose that to you if we need to send something off. A lot of times, that might require matching a missing stone, or getting a certain blend of metal so it blends in with your ring. Bottom line is, we have 28 years in downtown Neenah of fine jewelry work, repairing and custom designing jewelry. And prior to that, we have another ten years each, in just working with other jewelry stores, doing the job that needs to be done. Okay we'll get another one. Add one more beer to my tab, please. Where'd she go? Man: She went way in the back.
